Claire Jenkins is inviting the Group to visit her garden at Bordervale Plants, Ystradowen, Cowbridge, CF71 7SX on Sunday 13 September 2020 from 2.00pm.

The garden of 2.5 acres has been open for the National Garden Scheme for over 20 years, several times a year and has evolved further over this time. On this occasion it will be open to HPS Members free of charge. It is also the last day of the 2020 Season for the nursery and garden to be open. Suitable footwear should be worn. Set in a steep woodland valley, although the top lawn is flat and the bottom lawn is at a moderate gradient. Unusual trees, shrubs, climbers and herbaceous perennials have been used in many places and there is a microclimate to suit most of Claire’s impulse purchases over the years.
Limited parking. Overflow parking will be on the side of the road past/before the sharp corner depending on your approach. Marker cones will be set out.
If you can’t make this date, Claire’s garden will be open for the National Garden Scheme on:
- Sunday, 3 May 2020, 11-4
- Saturday, 6 June 2020, 11-4
- Sunday, 5 July 2020, 11-4
- Bank Holiday Monday, 31 August 2020, 11-4
NGS admission charges will apply on these dates.
