Members’ Garden Visit
Claire Jenkins had invited the Group to visit her garden at Bordervale Plants, Ystradowen, Cowbridge, CF71 7SX in September but it is now clear that the regulations put in place by the Welsh Government will not allow this to go ahead. Claire has, though, invited us to visit sometime next year instead.
The Committee are trying to arrange an alternative visit a bit later in September. This page will be updated if such a visit proves possible,
In the meantime, what you have to look forward to next year …..

The garden of 2.5 acres has been open for the National Garden Scheme for over 20 years, several times a year and has evolved further over this time. On this occasion it will be open to HPS Members free of charge. Suitable footwear should be worn. Set in a steep woodland valley, although the top lawn is flat and the bottom lawn is at a moderate gradient. Unusual trees, shrubs, climbers and herbaceous perennials have been used in many places and there is a microclimate to suit most of Claire’s impulse purchases over the years.
Limited parking. Overflow parking will be on the side of the road past/before the sharp corner depending on your approach. Marker cones will be set out.
