Members’ Web Sites

Several of our members maintain web sites or blogs:

Cilgwyn Lodge

Keith Brown and Moira Thomas started making their garden in Llangadog, Carmarthenshire, back in 1976 and started documenting their successes on the web in 2009. The garden, and Keith’s knees, were featured on BBC Gardeners’ World in the summer of 2018. Sadly, Keith passed away on 5 March 2020. Moira won’t be updating the website each month, as Keith did, but it remains “live” on the web.

Rivendell Garden Blog

John Kingdon, our current chair, blogs about his garden and other gardening topics.

Websites of Members Who Run Plant Nurseries

Bordervale Plants

Claire Jenkins, a member of our Committee, runs Bordervale Plants  near Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan. The garden attached to the nursery has been featured on a number of TV programmes and is open to the public during the summer and, on occasion, in aid of the National Gardens Scheme.

Running a nursery single-handed is always a feat of ingenuity and Claire hasn’t yet got round to updating her web site but if you would like to view her 2019 plant list as a PDF, please click here.
